THE TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING “FOCUSED PASSION” PHOTO COLLECTION
Focused Passion is a unique collection of the Tampa Bay Lightning’s exciting 2004 Stanley Cup championship playoff run – private behind-the-scenes photographs taken exclusively by the Lightning’s own renowned photographer Scott Audette.
The Collection was acquired by Lou Buccino in 2004 reflecting his love of the game and the intention of touring the Collection throughout Tampa Bay in the coming years for the benefit of our community and fans as well as social and charitable organizations.
The Collection has since been loaned to and displayed at many prominent Bay area venues – the Tampa Museum of Art, the Tampa Convention Center, Busch Gardens, Ruth Eckerd Hall, the St. Pete Times Forum, Raymond James corporate HQ and the University of Tampa among others.
Focused Passion is a wonderful, personal perspective of the 2003-04 Stanley Cup Playoffs – to keep those fond memories alive for coming seasons we now offer this interactive website – please view the Collection, provide your comments and consider posting your own hockey photos, news and anecdotes in one of our Galleries!
And starting in October 2011 with the opening of the NHL season the Collection will return to the scene of triumph and be displayed at the newly renovated Tampa Bay Times Forum, in the new PNC Bank Club (former Channelside Club) on the upper level (5); a parallel exhibit will be on display at Tampa International Airport from January thru June 2012.
